Your Teacher

Mr. Briganti has been teaching elementary education for the past 17 years, bringing passion to his lessons and relishing the moment when a student finally 'gets it!'. Prior to his teaching career, he spent fifteen years in the business world, which gives him unique insights into how students will apply their knowledge in future careers. This understanding is why every lesson includes a valuable life lesson.

Mr. Briganti has been fortunate to receive several accolades for his teaching; however, the true reward for him is the opportunity to work with kids. As a father, he appreciates the needs of children beyond academics, creating a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Recognizing that parents are the first and most important teachers, he developed this website, HomeworkNook, to ensure transparency in the classroom and to enable learning to continue at home.

PBIS Matrix (download below)

PBIS stands for "Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports." The PBIS initiative outlines our school-wide behavior expectations. In this model, students are rewarded for positive behaviors and given consequences for inappropriate behaviors. In the PBIS model, students are reminded to be Respectful, Responsible, and Safe at all times throughout the school building, including in spaces like the classroom nook.
